I have SLP boxed sfc that were welded in. No bolts holding it in, just welds. They were already on the car when I bought it so its not like I really had a choice . One thing I do like about them is, because my car is lowered, they serve as protecters of my exhaust when I bottom out. Because they hang so low, they are lower than my exhaust.

I ordered a set of 2pt boxed weld-in sfcs from them. They are light and have a nice finish. UMI makes some quality stuff, they have great customer service and I'll be going with them for the rest of my suspension.

We have a mig welder at work with i think 030 wire, would that be fine to use? They use it to weld exhaust togeather.
Also i was trying to make out the pics that umi put in the instrutions but cant make them out.

Global West here
SFCs were one of the first things I ever did to my car back in early 2002. Then Spohn came out with their 13 lb chromoly ones. My Global West's are like 19 lbs, but they are a bigger diameter compared to all the others yet still tuck in nicely. From that day forward I decided to never do another mod until I was absolutely certain a better part wouldn't come out... ouch.
