I have SLP boxed sfc that were welded in. No bolts holding it in, just welds. They were already on the car when I bought it so its not like I really had a choice . One thing I do like about them is, because my car is lowered, they serve as protecters of my exhaust when I bottom out. Because they hang so low, they are lower than my exhaust.

I have the "newer" BMR boxed. They fit great, tucked well, and made a difference in the handling of my car. They are the only BMR suspension pieces on my car

I have the SLP SFC. Very good quality, a little on the heavy side. I got the bolt in ones and also had them welded in.

I ordered a set of 2pt boxed weld-in sfcs from them. They are light and have a nice finish. UMI makes some quality stuff, they have great customer service and I'll be going with them for the rest of my suspension.

BMR Boxed here. Welded. Would do them again, if just for the good jack points.

We have a mig welder at work with i think 030 wire, would that be fine to use? They use it to weld exhaust togeather.
Also i was trying to make out the pics that umi put in the instrutions but cant make them out.

Can any one post up some good pics on where to weld thanks.

Getting BMR boxed installed as we speak. I hope they make the difference that everyone says they'll make.

Default Global West here

SFCs were one of the first things I ever did to my car back in early 2002. Then Spohn came out with their 13 lb chromoly ones. My Global West's are like 19 lbs, but they are a bigger diameter compared to all the others yet still tuck in nicely. From that day forward I decided to never do another mod until I was absolutely certain a better part wouldn't come out... ouch.

I went with BMR boxed SFC's, but I got them for $50 off a guy in our local club.
