Default Aftermarket springs/spring cup question

Has anybody's aftermarket springs seemed like the bottoms wouldn't quite seat right on the spring cups? My G2 springs look like about 1/4" of the bottom coil needs to be removed before the springs will be centered in the cup. Right now the spring is a little off to the opposite side because the end of the coil sticks out a little further than the rest of the spring. Or will it adjust itself once it has some weight on it?

A picture might help me get a better idea of what you're explaining.
