when you womp down on it, you might get alot of light wheelhop , also. the car will twist down and to the right (from all that torque) the ride will feel kinda floaty too. How many miles on your car? my shocks were bad at 55,000 miles. i replaced em with KYB AGX 8 way adjustables. love em! theyre 90.00 each but worth every penny!

Well, there could be various symptoms. Noise (squeeks, clicking), leaks, "porpoising" or floating, tire wear, the pre-described wheel hop in either the front or rear shocks (front, from an understeer effect and the rear under accleration)....

Do you intend to or have you installed aftermarket/lowering springs ??

I'm at 86K, so i know i'm waaaaay over do for shocks.

I already ordered my new set of bilstein re-valved from strano - just waiting for them to get here. I have a pro-kit and adj panhard bar and new lca too.

Reason I ask is because my car has been a real pain in the *** to drive on the highway lately. It doesn't stay in a lane, but it's not the usual big tires tracking kind of drift, it's a little more abrupt than gradual, and it happens mainly over rough or uneven road. I was just trying to figure out if this is a symptom of the $hitty shocks, or if there's something else going on that i should be concerned about. (car was aligned not too long ago)

Thaaaaat's about right! That floaty squirrely feeling is a result of your shocks being all softy & squishy which makes your car feel like, er, uhm, softy and squishy!!!

Revalved Bilsteins with the Eibach Prokit? Nice choice!!! Your car will feel like an entirely new ride!
