Default Help, leaky brake lines

I just installed a line lock kit, and my brake line connections are as tight as I can get them. I pumped the brakes to make sure there was no leaks, and I can see it squirting out where it connects with the solonoid. I have tightened and retightened. Is there anything I need to put on the threads? Do I need an O ring for every fitting? What am I missing.. please help me out, Thanks alot, Dave

Where are they leaking? At the flare fitting? Did you flare the lines? Are they double flared? If they are a flare fitting, you do not need an o-ring or any thread sealant. The fittings the flare screws into is brass. It is made to deform when you tighten the flare into the fitting. If the line was not flared correctly and is crooked. You will damge the brass fitting and the line will leak. You may have to replace the fitting and cut and relare the line.

the stuff you use on air tools to help seal on the fittings too.

You cant use teflon tape on a flare fitting, it still wont seal properly. You dont want to risk getting it in your brake line either, and clogging the caliper.
