Orange shocks on a 01 SS??

Orange shocks on a 01 SS?? I was looking under my car today and I noticed that I have orange colored shocks. I thought that the factory SS package came with Bilstein Blue/Yellow shocks. Can anyone clear this up for me???

Sounds like you have DeCarbons. I was under the impression that the SS and WS6 packages came with DeCarbons and you could then upgrade from there to the Bilsteins from SLP. I could be wrong, I am by no means an expert like half of this board, hopefully someone else will chime in. My WS6 has orange DeCarbons FWIW.

Yep you have the decarbon shocks. My firehawk has them (level 1 suspension package), my buddys 97 SS (SLP) has them. Neither of us have the SLP upgraded suspensions with the Bilstein or Koni shocks. Hey at least the ride is nice and composed...

yea i think he got the point too lol...um yea my t/a has decarbons and when i looked at my friends 00" WS6, i was like wtf??? he had the orange decarbons too...i was like HA u have a fake WS6 lol but then i read this thread and... u get the point... no biggie, they still ride and corner nice
