I am going to assume these were designed around stock weight cars, give or take a couple hundred pounds?

In other words, these springs will react differently than designed in a 3000lb car, and a 3800lb car.

Oddly enough, mine was within specs after the lowering. I do not know if that means it was f#*!ked up before? I can't believe it wouldn't change things, but I have the print out and was willing to pay for an alignment, they just said it wasn't necessary. I can give you specifics if you want them. I will say, and so will my picky wife, that it does drive(tracks straight, doesn't wander) better.

if you get Sam's springs you need to upgrade the shocks- the stock shocks are bad with soft spring rates and they'd be absolutely horrible with stiffer rates

Yeah..... Lowering springs with stock shocks is NOT a good combination as shocks are spring dampers and the stock shocks can't control the stock springs, let alone something lower and stiffer. Someone will sell you springs and tell you it's fine. I'll sell you springs, but I won't tell you it's fine.....

How did you do at your solo competition Sam? Did you run with your springs and stuff? I am trying to find some more seat time before I go back to Road Atlanta in December. It is all I think about.

I won the ProSolo Finale event, the ProSolo series Championship and Solo Nationals in ESP. Took Hoosier for 12 tires @ $280 each. I was running my bars and spring rates I used to determine the rates for the lowering spring sets. I have coil-overs on my car for corner weighting and testing purposes so I can't use my springs, but did use the information gathered to build the springs you have.
