Yeah I understand that. I was simply wondering because I would like a lowering spring without a high rate increase for my street car so I wanted to see where yours fell in line with others, or if you even knew. I'm sure you could make an educated guess though, but I wasn't really asking for any hard numbers.

I'm not hiding it, and you can be assured I know where they fall as well as the rate.... since I speced the rate and didn't rely on some random dude to do it for me. I'm not not willing at this time to spout it all over the net.

I'm not adverse to discussing them, but not online.

Alot stiffer than a front eibach and a Medium increase in the rear and loose the Variable rate. And have the car higher than 26 1/4 inch ride height of the eibach. If you want to do some digging you could get yourself close to what he might be running.

What I like about the springs is that you get proven rates without the hassle of corner weighting the car. But with that said you might not like the added increase in rate. My car is on the bump stops alot at the track and that is why I chose to run these. And as my car sits its faster by 2 sec a lap on a 1.5 mile track than my co-driver zo-6. My car is much for fun to drive too. Hopefully with the new springs there is even a greater decrease in lap times>>

I'm happy to discuss other options with you, if that's what you want. My name is on these things, I speced the rates and heights. But I don't make them, and the hold up is in production apparently. Seems they never made it here like I was told.

Again, I'm waiting too. And I want them worse than anyone else possibly could.

Mostly good news..... Of the 10 sets coming, 6 made it. I know, I know... I'm trying to figure out why.

But the good news is that the four paid orders (John Tokar, George Kusevich, Jonathan Boyd, and Johnny Slagle) have the springs on the way tomorrow! The next batch is supposed to here the day after tomorrow, and the next folks on the list will be getting phone calls from me. And yes, I do have a list longer than 10 if some of the original folks flake out.

A reminder for you folks. I need data. Including what the ride height is now, and what springs you are on to get that ride height. And I need you to measure the car with my springs after a bit of driving.

All information comes back to me directly, and is NOT for public consumption at this point. You are beta testers, basically, and the information has to be reviewed first.

I am glad to see mine are on the way!!! I am doing the track day at Road Atlanta the 16th of September. It will be nice to have them on there!!!! The improvements from the rear Koni's and the Strano sway bars is significant. Can't wait to get the rest on there. I will be calling you Sam on what else I need to do so I don't mess up my car at Atlanta.

The remaining springs arrived today..... so we have all 10 sets.

Convertibles.... these will work on them, but they are firm and designed first and foremost for handling over ride. The spring rates are not outlandish, the fronts are similar to (but not the same as) a number of springs out there now. The rears are actually softer than a number of springs, but 25% stiffer than stock rears. Up to you for a convertible. We've done springs on them without issue before, but we don't use ballistically stiff spring anyway, and always use good dampers, which is a huge key.

Hmmm, I don't have you on the list. PM me your full name and phone number though and I'll add you right away.

My day just got a whole lot better! Now I just need to find the time to put em on when they get here. Stupid Army field training!

It may be stupid but it's important Jon, and I for one am glad you're doing it.

Maybe some buddies on base can help out over the weekend??

Just ordered my set too, so I'll be able to send Sam a comparison of stock LS1 SS vs. these with Koni Singles on it. I'll take some pictures as well and maybe they can be posted up to show the difference.

I've got a couple lined up. I'm not really complaining, but it DOES interfere with car play time!

I ordered my springs along with Konis today from Sam (BTW, thanks for the advice!). First autox is next weekends pro-touring event at 411 speedway - I'll post some info about the new setup then.

All the test sets are gone. Hopefully we'll have some good ride height data in the next few weeks, all will be good and we can get springs to the rest of you who want them!
