Default Found out I have Jamex springs. Who the F is Jamex?

Anyone ever heard of these. I've been wondering for a while what springs I had as I've wanted to change them and I was under the car the other day and saw that they had something written on them. I was sure before that I looked and they didn't but I was wrong. They say "118 Jamex" and on the fronts they say "2321 Front". I tried looking them up on the net and supposeldy Jamex pulled out of the US market and only does European distribution now. I found that they come in 1.5" and 2" drop thus far, but I'm still not sure which ones I have. I'd lean more towards the 2" but I'd like to be sure to be able to make solid comparisons for my next spring choice. What do you all think? I attached pics with both the stock 16's and the 35th wheels for better relation. Any input on these Jamex springs?

Try googling them. I've heard of them before but more on the import side of the automotive scene.

Another 30th guy (Dan #605) has them on his 30th. I he's the only other person I know of that has them.

He seems to be pretty happy with them though.

Yea, they're not bad springs. They're just too low for my LT/ORY setup at the moment. Plus, I'd like to raise it back up maybe half an inch for handling and the sake of comfort seeing as how it's a daily driver and the roads are crap in a lot of places around here.

Nonetheless, the point of this thread was to figure out what kind of drop I had, whether it was 1.5" or 2". Hopefully that guy will chime in or someone can find out what kind of drops *were* available when these were on the market as they were already on the car when I bought and thus have no info about them.

I had them on my white 98 and they were a 2" drop. I thought they were a pretty good spring.
