How easy to warp rotors??
Hi guy's
Did a bit of street racing couple of days ago, and when I parked up, there was bluish smoke comming from the front brakes, both sides. Not just a bit either !
Looked at the rotors and they were blue, !! seriously very hot, stinking hot.!!
So I jumped back into the car and just drived around the block at about 30 mph, on a route that i did not need to use my brakes for about 15 minutes, I did this just to cool the rotors, and calipers and fluid down a bit before parking up.
have I stuffed the rotors?
All stock standard stuff.

Time to look into some different pads combined with some Brembo blanks, and some upgraded brake fluid. You can call Sam Strano about these items. Bluish smoke usually happens during the initial bed in and not usually to stock stuff when it comes to that type of braking. Nevertheless, it's probably long overdue to replace the stock stuff.
