Default Shock tower nuts

What size/thread are the nuts on the shock tower, where you would mount a shock tower brace?

The nuts are 15 MM hex (.591"), not 5/8 (.625").

I believe the thread is 10MM * 1.5 pitch but you will need to check to be sure.

I had to replace both shock tower nuts as I recently did a shock/spring swap on my car. I installed Koni shocks and I think they have the same thread size as stock shocks. When I replaced the nuts I indeed purchased 10 MM X 1.5 as Weezzer stated. Hope this helps.

I don't believe he was referring to the nut retainer on the shock/spring interface (the nut on the shock shaft), but the two nuts on each shock tower visible in the engine bay.
These are the ones that must be timed with the lower shock tower assembly in order to attach the strut to the vehicle correctly.
