Default SFC Pictures

Hey guys,

I was thinking of making my own SFC's, and I was wondering if you guys could throw some pictures up of yours. Preferably where they are welded on the car so I can start to take measurements.

I haven't decided on if I'm going boxed or tubular so either is fine.

Thanks guys!

for you guys that installed your own SFC, how did you support the car? InstallUniversity says to raise the car by the tires, NOT the frame, which makes sense....not quite sure how I'm going to do that though...

I've got a couple buddies with a lift, but it says not to have the car on the frame when installing, i'm assuming incase one side is higher than the other, etc etc but who knows

I meant the kind of lift that loads the suspension, not the one that lifts by the body. That's what we used for mine.

do not use stainless tubing/pipe. it is a strong metal but it is such that the higher stresses put on the stainless, it doesnt give at all, which means it will crack or break completely.

yep, thats why you either see 4130 chromemoly or mild steel, mine are just the mild steel and work just fine
