Default A couple of questions about removing rear isolators

I've got the car up in the air doing some maintenance-type stuff and was thinking about what else I could do before I let it off the jack stands.
Rear isolators came to mind. I'm on a stock suspension except for an adjustable phb, and wouldn't mind lowering the car a little in the rear.
Can I pull them and do the hose mod on a stock suspension car without needing lca relocation brackets or needing an alignment since I'm not touching the front suspension?
I plan on doing Koni SA's shortly, but wouldn't mind doing this for the time being.

How much will the car lower without the isolator? Any drawbacks?

Everything I've read says 1/2" to 3/4". Drawbacks appear to be none.
There is a ton of info in other threads (especially ones concerning the Koni SA shocks), but I've never seen much mention about the changes it makes in suspension geometry.
