i installed an iron block in my z28 and now my front sits way lower than the rear. as a matter of fact, it looks like someone kicked the *** end up on my car since it sits so freaking high.i can fit a fist and a half between the tire and fender. what kinda of lowering spring would you suggest. the car is daily driven but built for the 1/4 mile. TIA.

So you're saying the extra weight of the block lowered the front inadvertantly, and the rear stayed the same, correct? What springs and shocks are you running now?
I'm curious how the car sits visually, what are the chances of snapping some pics so we could visualize the difference?

It's called the rear isolator trick. It'll lower the rear around three quarters of an inch, without any side effects. Highly recommended for stock springs only. Might be worth the effort to compare since you might not need anything else.
For aftermarket springs (ie like eibach pro kit for instance), you have a problem because they would lower the rear and the front. I suppose you could experiment if you were feeling fiesty and just install the rear springs to lower the rear and keep the stock springs up front, in theory it seems like a possible direction.
Of course, the best solution, is to get spring jacks for the rear (contact Strano Performance Parts) and run a custom spring. That will offer you whatever spring rate you want (if you want to keep it stock) and adjustable ride height for not a lot of cash.
