Default how about a rake?

I know they arent "in style" and that for turning and all the they arent good, but i really want a monster rake on my car. I grew up to stories and pictures or my dads '64 chevelle and '72 cude that were tall enough in the rear to put your elbow on jus standing. My car is going i for suspension work in about a week and i want to get that monster rake. I want to lower the front and lift the back then run like a 55 or 60 series tire, but how could i go about lifting the back to the it that high? i know pretty much nothing of suspension so i ask you guys... thanks

Back in the 60s',we gave no thought to 'pinion angle'.I'm from that era,I had a 65 buick gran sport that was setup high.To do a lot of things underneath I just had to crawl underneath, there was that much clearance underneath.
Raising the vehicle changes 'pinion angle'.

Air shocks will do what you want, and be adjustable
should you decide the mullet needs a trim. Dig it:

I like them fine; ride is a little more pleasant than
with the Bilsteins I had on there, but nothing I can
see negative about the handling; it seems well
enough controlled, no wheel hop (though I have
enough other suspension mods that it'd damn well
better not) etc.

Mine has a little rake to it.
It comes from tires and Eibach drag launch kit.

best way to give that rake and the older "badass" look at the same time would probly be to thow some 28" tall rear tires on it...

if you want it raked more, you could aways run lowering springs in the front..

although.... i wouldnt.
