Default subframe conectors????

I have a 1999 Z28 and I currently have a SLP torque arm siting in my house ready to go on my car. I want to put subframes conectors on also so I have desided to put them on together in one shot. Now I have already read the post on welded or bolt on's but i dont know which type is best. So I wanted to get some advice from some of the other members and which styles or companies people have liked or disliked. Thanks for your help.

When I got my subframe connectors I went with the SLP bolt on because they are already powder coated. I bolted them in, and then welded them in.

Almost all SFC you get are powdercoated. SLP is WAY overpriced. Go with UMI or BMR.

I used BMR tubular weld in SFC's. The only problem I had was the factory lower control arm front bolt was too short with the SFC's installed so I had to get new bolts that were longer. I would recommend these.

I was thinking about getting the 3-point weld-in SFC's, but now I'm thinking the 3-point bolt-in would be better. After I bolt them in, I could go get them welded.

I run Kenny Brown Double Diamonds and they have been on the car for 7 years.
They still look good and have performed very well.
They are more expensive though.

BMR Tubular. They look great, and are barely visible.

I have the Jegs brand and they fit fine. Tuck up real nice as well. Got the bolt-ins and have them welded as well. They are really heavy though.

Going with 2-point UMI bolt-in. I'll have them welded in when I get my rear installed...no welders I know of around here that'd do something like that.

Ryan,
UMI 3 point SFC looks a very well designed one. However, I do have one concern. The passenger side mounting plate seems to be short. It is welded to the half cut-out section of round bar. I think there will be lots of bending stress on the half round bar. If the mounting plates were extended all the way to the full round bar section. I think it will be much stronger. I am willing to try UMI SFC if UMI can offer me some kind of customized SFC. Thanks.
