Default Relocation Bracket ?

Does it matter if I go with the weld on's or the bolt on's? Are there any pro's and con's to either one?
Any info is appreciated !

I've heard the weld on ones are a little better. I plan on getting the bolt on ones when I lower my car so I can install them myself. Plus, I can always have them welded later if I want to.

IMO Weld on is the only way to go. In the past I have used both. The bolt on are fine if you don't hammer on them or have significantly higher hp. the bolt ons sometimes tend to move or "slide" a little, wich eventually will elongate the holes. If you go the weld on route, have someone very proficiant at welding do it! remember you "Life rides on them". If the weld breaks your cars susp. geometry will change and can cause violent shifting of the rear, causing your car to steer its self with the rear (happened to me, my fault for rushing the job I did myself).

Why not bolt them in and weld the entire area as well.

I don't know ANYTHING about welding, just wondering.

I'm putting the bolt-in brackets on my 3rd Gen 'cause I've got two different 9 bolts with 2 different rations, one street/hiway, one track, so it'd be a lot cheaper to do. The weld-in brackets cost about as much, after welding work, as the bolt-ins, just that I don't wanna double it

I had mine welded and I use the bolt also. You can see the bolt in the photo.

What about all the different types of suspension parts, why not just do both, weld & bolt them in. I can only see this being a good thing. Welds break to.
