You need to lift the car BY the tires it has to be setting at the ride angle. So a lift would be great or FOUR ramps. Try to get the car level front to back and side to side. Place the angle finder on the drive shaft and write down the angle...Now place the angle finder on the FLAT spot at the bottom of the rear axle. This is the place that the bottom of the torque arm attaches to. Write down the angle subtract the angle of the rear from the angle of the drive shaft this is the pinion angle. The best (average best) is a -2 degrees for at the track. I set mine for 0 to drive on the road and then reset it to -2 at the track. Thge spohn T arm will also have instruction that come with it.

Doing this method I have heard different things from various people as to what my pinion angle really is. Hopefully can get some clarification here.

Reading on the driveshaft is 2* to the right of the 0 mark on the angle finder. Reading on the rear end is 2* to the left of the 0 mark.
Some are telling me that this is -4 pinion angle, and others are telling me 0 pinion angle.

So which is it? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
