Default Anyone Seen Dropped A-Arms?

I saw an LT1 car with some dropped A-arms to other day, but can't find the link now. Basically it looked like the balljoint end was cut and welded back on about 1" higher. This means the spring and shock mount on the arm was lower than stock which dropped the car about 1.5" while still allow the same amount of compression travel. So the wheel was able to tuck up higher in the fender unless you added some shims to the bumpstops to limit it.

I love this idea, but didn't realize anyone made them. Aren't the LT1 and LS1 lower arms the same? I could have sworn they were.

Bump...sounds like a cool idea to me, as long as there are no undesirable side-effects.
