Aren't the LG Motorsports brackets used to put the stock fbody calipers mounted to c5 rotors only? I don't think they are meant to add C5 calipers to. Anybody chime in please to correct me...

What doesn't fit?

1. Where the LG bracket mounts to the spindle? If so that is a LG issue . . .

2. The caliper bracket or "basket" to the LG bracket? If so the LG bracket is designed to use the CAMARO baskets . . . Either caliper should fit in either basket, and you would need to run CAMARO pads . . . .

The issue I had/have is the Caliper brackets to the LG bracket..I tried both Fbody and Corvette, with the Power Stop C5 rotor and Stock C5 rotor....the Caliper bracket bottom hole would not line up with the LG bracket in order for the bolt to thread also, it put the caliper bracket very snug against either rotor...not allowing it to turn. Trust me, I have done many a brake job so I know when something isn't fitting right.

I was not aware of this nor did LG Motorsports tell me this when we were emailing back and forth before I decided to purchase them. If that is the case I would not have gotten them since I would like to use the Corvette calipers. I will check into this though...thanks.

Just curious, why would you use Camaro pads if using the C5 calipers and C5 rotors?? I know on the rear you use the C5 caliper/ pads / and Fbody lines along with the Fbody rotor. Sorry if I am having a brain fart!

Because you use the F-body Pad Abutment Braket and that holds the pads and you need the F-body pads to fit in the bracket.

Bringin' this one back. I've heard that the rear calipers can't be changed to the C5 version on the LT1 cars because of the E-Brake. Is this true? I'm going to be doing this mod very soon, and was going to swap the rears as well. Also, I never use the E-brake, so maybe it really isn't an issue.
