Hey guys, I am getting some LT's installed and need to raise the car a little for some ground clearence. Currently have eibach Pros. SLP Bilsteins will be installed at the same time which are valved for a 1" drop I believe (the hypercoils are 1.25 Ibelieve). How do the Hypercoils compare to the Eibach and G2 springs?? Handling, ride, durability, quality??
TIA,

I have hypercoils. I like them, and I have plenty of ground clearance. I have some pics in the sig if you want to check them out.
If it wasnt for my bmr subframe connectors, I wouldnt scrape anything and I have no fear of putting long tubes on my car (hookers when I get some cash together).

i too have been looking at getting these springs and combining them with the slp valved bilsteins. i currently have 18" wheels with a 275/35 tire and am currious how much these springs actually lower the car compared to what they are advertised for.

You guys realize ...
- I believe you can only buy these through LG Motorsports
- They are no longer being manufactured
- They are currently about $175
I've installed a couple of sets of these springs and they have a good stance. They don't don't seem to lower the car quite as much as G2s or Eibachs.

I don't know ... I don't know anyone who runs them in the twisty stuff.
Lou has said many times that these were the springs he ran during his World Challenge championship years, before he developed his G2. So, I would assume they would work quite well.
And I believe they are progressive ...

i have these springs, all i ever drag on is real tall speed bumps. but my shocks are worn out, new ones should solve that problem.

My ride quality is fine. I have no complaints. Of course, I did drop some nice cash on konis for the front and bilsteins for the rear.
If I was on stock shocks I bet I would hate the springs.

I got mine on about three weeks ago. I was concerned because some had mentioned these springs were too soft and bouncy. All I can say is that in combination with SLP Bilsteins the ride is incredible (as good as stock) and the handling is great. I could not be more pleased. However I did see an INCREASE in drop for the rear end of my car switching from Eibachs prokit (front is about the same). This could have someting to do with the SLP Bilsteins though because they are valved for a 1" drop (SLP Eibachs). Overall I would reccomend this combo to evryone!!.

Just to clarify on the availability of these springs, I believe Kenny Brown Performance here in Indianapolis is still selling them too, though I haven't checked on that for a couple months. (I may call them tomorrow just to make sure.)
And I'm also pretty sure that Hypercoil, located just north of me in Logansport, Indiana, is still in business and still making these springs. Their online catalog is pretty huge.

No, Kenny Brown *may* have them, BUT Hypercoil WILL NOT sell these direct to the public due to liability reasons of their own. They discontinued the spring FYI.
LG Motorsports bought all the F body springs that Hyperco had in stock. That was about 9 months ago.

Hmmm... This is interesting.
I just called Kenny Brown Performance (a buddy of mine works there) & they are out of the Hypercoil springs, but the guy I talked to is the one who orders them, and he believes he can still get them. He said it would surprise him if they couldn't get the Hypercoils any more, since Hypercoil and Kenny Brown worked together to develop these springs. He is going to call Hypercoil & try to order some more, and see what they say. I'll post here when I hear back from him.
