Default Traction!

I am having trouble getting traction! I was
wanting to get some input on the best upgrades
for my suspension to help out with this problem.
My biggest upgrades that have affected traction
are 3.42 gears and a 3300 stall(obviously I have an A4 tranny. Also, I don't want to lower my car because LT headers are on my todo list
I would appreciate any advice!

Thanks Quicken, SFC's were already on my list, I had wondered how much I would see from LCA's, as well as and an aftermarket torque arm.
As for tires, mine are practically new. When I replace them I will go with a softer compound tire, but I was hoping to avoid buying tires in the short term!
Any more comments are welcome!

Lower control arms, PHR. Sub frame connecters, poly toly arm bushing..

and some BFG Drag radials should solve or at least help your problems

good luck

I would think just get the tires and wait on the other stuff, but if there new it would be crazy to get rid of them now.

How much $$$ do you have to spend?

What's your RWHP/RWTQ?

You could get a STB and Hal Shocks to. G2 Super Springs are awesome, but they will drop you
1 5/8".

I'm honestly not sure what my RWHP/RWTQ is, I'm not even sure where I could get it dynoed in Nashville, but it's basically a stock 2002 model, just the drivetrain upgrades that killed my traction!
I'm sure springs would be a big help, I just don't want to have clearance issue down the road, and excuse my ignorance, but STB??? Also shocks are in my future, but my plans for some things are just to upgrade when they need replacing, same with my tires. Also, does Nitto make a good tire for the FRONT of the car as well, because I hate mismatched brands>

STB= Strut Tower Brace (for the engine bay) It connects the 2 strut towers and croosses over the top of your motor. They look great and cost about $174.00 for a Hotchkis, the best one IMO.

Nitto makes 2 drag tires: NT 555R and NT 555R II Extreme.

The 555R has softer side walls for better launches. Still handles good to.
The 555R II Extreme has stiffer sidewalls for better hard cornering. Still great for launches.

BOTH of them are a night and day difference from F1's or GSC's or any other basic radial tire. They can both be used front and back. I would suggest you go with the 555R II Extreme to get the better cornering, and since you don't have crazy HP/TQ you will still get SERIOUS traction.
