weighed Autozone front rotors**& got 2 pounds off of them** And on my ever so precise bathroom scale they weighed in at 20 pounds a piece.
I then got them turned down to the absolute minimum thickness. Now the rotors weigh in at 18 pounds per <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: weighed Autozone front rotors**& got 2 pounds off of them** I have had Autozone rotors for over a year. Work fine for me. No cracks or warping. I just bought a second set to take to the track.
IMO, the Azone rotors have help up better than the stockers.

Did you use a torque wrench to torque your lug nuts properly? If not, that may be part of your warping problem.

Re: weighed Autozone front rotors**& got 2 pounds off of them** I weighed the stockers at 18#, and the AZ rotors at 20#. KVR blanks also weighed 20#, but didn't hold up as well on the track as the AZ rotors.

Re: weighed Autozone front rotors**& got 2 pounds off of them** I would think that you would want it the other way around. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Wouldn't heavier/thicker rotors disipate heat better? I think so.
