Default Best springs????

Looking to lower the Z 'bout 1.5"... What are the best springs that won't hurt my launches too much? Are shocks a must when swapping springs? What other suspension mods are recommended? My main concern is getting rid of the ugly wheel gap before I get some C5 rims. Thanks

I would have to say Eibach, but my opinion is slightly biased. I still haven't replaced shocks after 2 and a half years, but it is probably recommended. I would also go for a strut tower brace, and if you don't have subframe connectors, those should be your first suspension purchase. You could also look at a panhard rod and lower control arms! If you are serious about draggin' you could also look into a torque arm. Go to www.bmrfabrication.com and you will find everything you need. If price is not a concern, go to www.lgmotorsports.com

I originally put Eibach Pros on my car and hated them. They bounced too much in the rear. The rear springs also sagged and gave the car a "nose up" look.

This was all fixed by changing to G2 Springs. Lowered the car approx. 1.5" with no bounce and no rear sagging. You can get these from www.lgmotorsports.com

Seems a lot of people like the G2 springs. I think these are what I will go with. What are all the necessities when getting springs. Relocation brackets, shocks? After I get wheels, tires, and spring I won't have much $$ left. But it HAS to be lowered.

You can use your original shocks initially, but I would recommend changing them to something else. Changing the shocks will improve your ride even more. You can get KYB's for pretty inexpensive or can go with Bilstein, Koni or HAL shocks if you've got the bucks.
