Default Re: street tire pressure for drag racing

I run my GS-C's at 40 PSI all the way around. The tires have 37,000 miles on them and they look like I'll get between 40K to 45K out of them with even wear all the way around. Per your owners manual if you drive at high speed of 100mph or more you will want to inflate the tire pressure to 40 psi. Of course when drag racing you'll want to drop the rear pressure to about 30 or 28 but i would go any lower than that because you'll cup the tire and spin the rim inside the wheel.
