make sure the holes on the brackets are aligned perpendicular to the ground - or you will shift your axle forwards or backwards in the wheelwell.

For the best geometry, use the holes in the brackets that leave the LCAs parallel to the ground or slightly higher at the rear. Too high introduces dive and squat (which is why you need the brackets), too low makes the axle steer opposite to the front wheels in the corners.

Make sure you disconnect only one LCA side at a time, if disconnect both sides at the same time the rear end could roll on you ( not good ). Have you checked out www.installuniversity.com ,are you installing the bolt-on or weld-on type?

I installed a set of the bolt on BMR brackets last week and the only trouble was the emergency brake cable bracket. I was able to make it work with the help of a hammer. The directions said something about cutting the bracket but the hammer worked fine.

Damn if that didn't happen to me. I removed both LCA's and what a major PITA it was to get them back in. I think that removing 1 at a time makes great sense.

Installuniversity has some great write ups too.
