Re: Widening my WS6 rims, who does it....
Found this link when I was searching for the exact same thing: http://www.ws6.com/wheels.htm
Not sure if you could send them to him or what but maybe a local machine shop could do it...

It looks like he had to modify his wheel wells and his subframe, whats up with that?
Do you think the rims will be just as strong as factory after the cutting and welding?

That's what I'm wondering... It's seems like he has done a lot of high speed driving so maybe it is just as safe. I may opt to go for the ZR1 wheels, instead. Then the big question is: chrome or black???

Go for the chrome.

The wheels should be strong because they are only modifying the inner portion of the wheel, but the spacers could be the weak link and can be fairly expensive, making a entirely new set of wheels more attractive.

Re: Widening my WS6 rims, who does it....
Gotcha - the aftermarket ZR1 wheels would have a 50mm offset to help reduce the rubbing... What a PITA! So your talking $450 to widen the rims plus another few hundred for the modifications, I might as well get a new set!
