Installing lowering springs WITHOUT using panhard or LCA brackets...bad idea?
I am looking to lower a '00 Formula and I was wondering if I just installed springs and did not use an adjustable panhard bar and/or LCA relocation brackets if I would hurt anything? I have heard that these other two parts are vital to lowering an F-body but I want to make sure. If I can get by with just the springs I'll do it. What are your experiences?

Adjustable Panhard Bar keeps one side from being higher than the other. Relocation Brackets help keep the suspension geometry correct.

i have the eibach pro kit on my formula with no relocation brackets and a stock length panhard bar. rear is square and centered under the car, i have no issues, i say save the money unless you have ungodly wheelhop, i don't.

I just lowered my car & don't have LCA relo brackets; my traction sucks. You don't have to have them but for best traction you need them. I just wanted to see the difference before I ordered the parts. I did the entire suspension on my SS so I never was able to tell how much of a difference it made until now.

What is the deal with all the duplicate posts/threads today? Hit the submit button once. Even if it doesn't appear that it's going through it probably will if you give it a little time. If you keep hitting the button it will just make more posts or threads.
You can easily delete the extra posts or threads by clicking edit/delete, checking the delete box, and clicking submit. Thanks!
Oh, I think the answer to your question may be in this thread. I just lowered my car about one inch...

Colonel, I think luv269 wants the info on lowering ONLY the REAR of his car 1". That's a question I'd like answered, as well. My '02 car has a slight "rake" w/stock suspension, except for boxwd lca's w/poly bushings. Thanks. WJ.

Sounded to me like he was asking if he would have a problem with lowering it an inch without an adjustable panhard or LCA relocators. If that's the case an inch in the back is an inch in the back regardless of if you lower the front or not. In other words, the front has nothing to do with it.

Well, if I lower the rear 1", say just pull the spring rubber, as you did, should I install lca re-location brackets to aid 60 fts., or might it not make a difference? Lowering my car 1" should make it damn near level.... Thanks. WJ.

Lowering the car even one inch is going to make some difference in starting line traction if you don't do relocators. I don't think it'll be much but it will be some. Relocators even help non-lowered cars get a little better traction. Obviously the more you lower the more your traction will be hurt.
