sub-frame connectors
please help me out here. i am so confused about the Many brands and kinds out there. i was thinking about getting the slp bolt on sfc's. i never push my car, no track time, just an average daily driver on smooth highway.
do you think these will hold up to a granny type driver? i don't want to stretch bolt holes or have problems down the line...
any advice on this would be very much appreciated..thanks

Re: sub-frame connectors
Get the bolt-on SFC, I see a lot replies here saying bolt-on SFC aren't as good as weld-on's. We installed a set of SLP bolt-on SFC on a friends SS a couple of years ago, he now has well over 15k miles on them and there as tight as the day we installed them, this we installed another set on another friends SS and he's just as happy with his set. There's another maker of bolt-on SFC that is becoming well know, everyone that I have heard from says there great, here's a link www.spectaclesolutions.com . If you think you might be going with bolt-on SFC but would like to know more about what's involved with there install first I can e-mail you a write up I did plus some pics.

P.S. Oh yeah about the repies you'll get about bolt-on SFC not being able to hold up to hard driving.... someone needs to tell my friends they won't hold up.

I agree with Dark Age 53 and you would do good by taking his advice. I did and bolted on some SFC's from www.spectaclesolutions.com and couldn't be happier. They went on with out a hitch and DARK AGE 53's pictures and instructions helped a bunch. If you have any questions that Dark AGE 53 didn't answer or questions on how I did it you can E-mail me. I still have the pictures on file too.

Re: sub-frame connectors
I'm running SpectacleSolutions SFC and STB on my car right now and I will be adding his new boxed LCA w/ poly bushings in February.
I've had 20+ passes down the track (in 2 nights) and the bolts didn't loosen.
Brian (Spectacle Solutions) is HIGHLY recommended.
