Not external engine related.

Moving to the Handling section.

i wouldnt suggest some other tire than kumho unless you are broke. i have no traction whatsoever when i get on the car any at all. converter prolly helps that but before converter still the same way.

i would suggest some KDW's, i hear they are a bad *** tire and not really that expensive.

kumho are better than stock though, better in wet and dry handling

If you have 16" wheels on your f-body, you can't beat SLP's price for their "take-off" tires....$99.95 a piece. I just bought four a couple of weeks ago. I spent $459 on tires & shipping, and another $58 for Discount Tire to mount and balance them (plus put them on the car).
The tires were so new they still had the little nubbies all over them.....I saved roughly $500 by doing it that way.

I have Khumo 712's and yes they are an improvement over the factory rubber. They handle better because they have much stiffer sidewalls. Great tires when they're new and it's warm outside, but just wait till they have 10,000 miles on them and it's winter time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I'll probably pay the extra $15 a tire and get better quality tires next time.
