Any common mods make high-speed aerodynamics worse?

Any common mods make high-speed aerodynamics worse?
I'm primarily referring to mods done to the front end to get more airflow, etc.
For instance:
- Removing front grille and not replacing it
- Removing extra plastic baffling around radiator (FRA mods)
- Installing air scoops (FTRA, SuperSucker, etc) which direct air up into the engine bay instead of around the sides of the car.
- Brake ducting
Any good ideas on how to make it better without lowering the car? Maybe a lower airdam? Putting some sort of shield over the Z28 frog-eye headlamps? Increase the rake with adjustable coilovers? Maybe an inertia-activated lowering airdam along the doorframes to create more of a vacuum? Lower profile tires to reduce ground clearance? Using some sort of covering to cover body-panel gaps? Remove wipers & rear-view mirrors? OK, maybe that's too far.
Not real concerned about fitting into a class, but looking for further ideas than changing suspension parts.

The most common would be ram air hoods, they act as an air brake eventually. many tape up body seams, and any holes made in the front would hurt aero signifigantly. If mirrors are retained it's best to keep them away from the body so that the air trailing off of them doesn't roll down the body.
In that thread you'll also see pics of a car with a plastic skirt to close off all air to go under the fron of the car. And lower profile tires would be a bad idea.
Go through that thread though, there's alot of good info there
