Big Gulp Johnson

Alright guys, I've seen this debate several times, and would like some more opinions on which tire is gonna work for me. I've used 15" BFG's before, and I'm well aware of the quality of these tires. I'm wondering how much of a difference I'll feel between the 15's and 17's...275-40-17's. These tires will be on a h/c formula, and will be used primarily for street and some track use. I've heard that BFG's won't last nearly as long as nittos, but hook much better.

I like the car to be a little loose in the back on the street, but want a tire that hooks at the track. Also, this isn't a daily driver...only weekend use. Give me some inputs please!!

Nittos, fine in the rain, good mileage, handle awesome, you can pull 1.5 60 fts with them at stock power with the right setup.
