Timmy,
You will get about 5000 different answers on this one.
I am running a Stage 2 lowering spring kit from H&R. Available through www.tirerack.com. I like the fact that it has "tender springs", it is 2 springs in one. The tender spring is a series of tightly wound coils that are complete compressed once the weight of the car is on them (effectively a spacer), but expand to take up any slack if the suspension is unloaded (like hanging with the car on a jack), this keeps the springs up in the perches where they belong (and it makes them slightly more difficult to install).
It lowered my 2002 Z28 about 1.3-1.4 inches.
Good luck.

My friend has the eibach pro kit and it drops about an inch and a half, he really likes it, it doesnt ride quite as ruff as most lowered cars.
I have the ground control adjustable springs, to me they are the best thing ever, you can lower them all the way and be dropped about 3 inches, or go all the way for about stock ride hieght fairly easily.

Do a search, I had a post with about 50 or so pics of lowered f-bodie. Look for "post your lowered car pics" that should help you.

I have the Eibach pro kit. I think the drop is juss right. And the ride feels better. I might have to switch them out since I have some slp long tubes waiting to be installed.

A product like ground control or LGM sells. They are height adjustable by corner. It is handy to adjust the ride height, but never have to mess with removing the springs to make the change.
