Default Re-Valved Bilsteins?

I have a Pro-Kit on my car, and when I put it on I had a new set of stock shocks etc. put on with the intention of getting something better down the line.. well I kinda didnt and now I am getting tired of the EXCESSIVE bad ride. I know it could be better.. my question is, will re-valved bilsteins from SLP designed for a 1" drop make the car ride better? and if so.. how much? Also, would i go revalved on all 4 or just up front/back what?

IMHO I would spend the $ for the Konis. I just got mine on and am very impressed! The car sticks like glue, AND RIDES BETTER THAN STOCK!!

If you are going to get revalves, get the Sam Strano revalved Bilsteins. The SLP's are not valved properly for the Eibach's. To answer your question, you only need the front revalved, not the rears.

SLP's revalves are also terribly valved in themselves. The increased rebound from stock in them isn't the problem (which actually is the smart thing to do). The problem was the decreased compression valving, which is less than the regular Bilstein HD's (what I consider a terrible idea itself to do as far as performance is concerned).

I've got the SLP revalved Bilstiens and the Pro Kit also..

I did the shox and springs at the same time. I noticed less squat on launch, it stays a bit more level on long turns, feels like they are kinda stiff but can take jounce when it has to.

ride isn't a spongy

SLP shocks are a different valving in the front than HD's. Stiffer on rebound (not a lot) and softer on compression (not a lot). SLP shocks on the rear are NO different from HD's at all. SLP shocks aren't what I'd call a Revalve because they are mass produced, and what they are is what they are. They are "built" with the SLP Eibach's in mind which are not as low or as firm as most lowering springs for these cars. Right away your valving is not matched to the spring, while it might be better than HD's or stock shocks, it's not meant for your springs. Calling SLP shocks revalves is like calling the new HD's (where the valving has changed) revalves because they differ from the old ones. Yes, SLP's are different than HD's. But they are one size fits all, and no specific to any spring but SLP springs, and even at that I feel lack a little rebound control still.

On the other side of the coin are shocks that are actually Revalved on a case-by-case basis. Which is what I do. I take into consideration the springs you are running (both the height, and the rate of them), and how the car is used, as well as other parts that have to work in conjunction with them.

So I can leave the stockers in the rear? Where is the best place to get revalved bilsteins from for my setup?

The only place to get them as far as I know, besides having the revalved yourself at Bilstein, is from Sam.

I'm waiting to install my Strano Bilsteins too. They should help a ton with the springs.
