Picked up my SS from Andy's Auto last Friday for my 12K miles maintance and have LGM LCA, PHR, and torque arm insatlled. As usually, Mark did a very good job working on my car.
THE LGM parts replaced the MMS poly stuff and the stock torque arm. The car handles great with the new suspension parts, and even felt better on acceleration. My morning drive thru Angeles Creat Hiway was a blast. Gone are the annoying noise associated with the poly suspension noise. One thing thou, I never notice how many cracks are there on a road, I can definitely fell every single one. I wonder, does anyone sell a replacement rod end that have grease fittings (like the one we use on airplanes)?
Now I am looking forward for LGM's front upper A-Arms and K-Members.

THere are some rod ends that you can grease with a "needle", but I'm not sure which ones (I used to work on aircraft as an avionics technician, I know the rod ends you are speaking of). I am planning to replace my rod ends with "black max" rod ends this spring and I may try a set of "dust covers" that are washers with a rubber part to cover the ball and help keep dirt out and grease in....thought it was worth a try. YOu may try a website for national rod ends and some of the others and see what you find. Good luck.

Chances are, if I know he load rating, hole size and bolt specification of the rod ends, ball joint, or hemi joint, whichever way you want to call it, I might be able find the appropiate replacement units.

Your idea on the grease boots may or may not be a good idea Trackbird, it depends if your car is a daily driver or not. If it rarely gets driven in the rain or dusty roads, I would say great idea. If it not, the dust boots might actually trap dirt and water inside the boot.
I've seen the boots and would like to have a look at them myself to see how well they seal up against the rod end. If you find a sorce for them separately, post it so I can check em out.

NAPA has a graphite spray lube.
It's called DGF 123
http://www.lightaero.co.uk/cat/compounds/dgf_123.htm
It's propelled by alcohol, which evaporates and leaves a dry graphite film.
Oils and greases will get dust and dirt embedded and will quickly become an abbrasive, rather than a lubricant.
