Torque Arm Question...

I am just removing and selling the R/T since I am doing a T400 conversion and need to get a T/A that is not mounted on the trans anymore.

It'd also let you keep the lighter weight RT Torque Arm.
BTW, why would you buy a $600 Alston Torque Arm over a $250 Jegs Torque Arm, if they work off the same principle? I don't think I've read any evidence of either one being made with bad craftsmanship or anything.

I don't see why the arm itself wouldn't work fine, so long as you're not launching a 3800+lb car. I'm curious what their reasoning was, unless it's simply that the arm didn't have enough tensile strength to lift the front end through the 60' mark.
Also not sure what 700ft/lbs has to do with the torque arm directly, but it DOES sound badass!

2- I can get the Alston for less than $400, I think if you call up it's like $400.
3- I need a setup good for 700ftlbs of torque.
