Default ABS INOP Light is on!

Hey, ever since i installed my headers, I have had an ABS inop light on at the lower left hand side of my console. I would love to know why that is... Anyone have a clue?

You could hook it up to a scanner and see why. My harness went kaput and I'm waiting on a new one.

A performance shop would have one as well.

I would check all the ABS connections and make sure that something didn't get unpluged. Also there's an ABS wire on the passenger side down by the headers, might want to make sure that the new header didn't burn through that wire.

What he said^^^^. Usually if you dont have any fire retardent material on the wires the heat from the header will melt them.

If you go to a dealer they will charge you a arm and a leg to scan it.
Go to Auto Zone, they will scan if for you for free with a print out of the code and what it means.
You can also buy the scanner they use to bring up codes and clear them. I got mine for $125 2 years ago.

Why not just put a sensor ring on the posi? I did and was only like $30 from dealership.

Ok, I will go to auto zone and see if they can find the problem. Where is the ABS sensor that could have been melted off by the heat? That is probably what it is.
