Today I discovered that my brake lights come on at WOT.
I didn't notice if the brakes were accually grabbing or not, but the lights come on everytime I go WOT.
I did a search and couldn't find much, but there are a couple other cases.
The car has powerstop rotors and hawk pads that work flawless.
What would be causing this and what do I need to do to fix it?

I'm going to try to adjust the switch on the pedal back a little bit and see how that goes.
Maybe that will cause the light not to come on so easy.
I'll let you guys know how that goes.
Thanks for the advice guys!

Lots of people have this problem. I thought it was because they were hitting the brakes while shifting...but when I think of it, it would make sense that during a shift (which can be a little rough) perhaps the car slumps forward, moving the brake pedal onto that switch and triggering the light. Never seen an A4 do it.

But, when I go to shift the light flickers off and once its hammered again the lights go back on.

Well...at least now - I feel better. Sure am glad I'm not alone.
Did you ever find out what yours problem was?
If/when I figure out what the problem is, I'm going to post the solution on here for others with similar problems to learn of the fix.
