I haven't installed them yet but I called Earl's tech support and they told me the Solo-Bleed part number was 280040ERL for a 1998-2002 Camaro or 2000 Corvette (I'm about to put C5 calipers on the front of my SS). Looks like that part is 10mm x 1, 32mm long.

Thanks. I am doing the same conversion. What I have yet to find out for sure is the rear size.

Anyone else??

Earl's tech support said the front/rear on the Camaro/Covrette were the same size.

(They better fit! I don't have my C5 calipers yet, they backordered; but I should have everything in time to do the install next weekend...)

The rears have a different part number than the front. I believe the rears are smaller.

If you just want Earls so you can bleed them yourself, the little $5 brake bleeder kit you can buy at most autopart stores works fine.

Maybe the V6 rear brakes are smaller but I just installed a set of 280040ERL's on the rear of my 2000 SS and they fit fine. (I guess the 280022ERL's are just 5mm shorter?)

Quick Reply: Bleeder size??
