I just got a set and am looking for specific adjustment settings. I want it to be firmer than stock in the front to keep the axle off the bumpstops. I want the rear to be a little slower on the rebound. I want a setting that will be good for daily driving and help transfer power to the rear wheel. If anybody knows specific adjustments that will do this, I would like to hear it. The guy who is installing them hasn't worked with these specific shocks much and doesn't know what setting I'm looking for. I don't have many tools or a place to work on my car right now, so I would like to be able to call him with the adjustment info. It will be difficult for me to find time and a place anytime soon to readjust them. I'll be busy working and moving for the next few weeks. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I purchased my Koni's about 2 weeks ago from Stranoparts.com. I am supposed to call them when I get ready to install them so they can help me adjust them properly to what I need. Once I find out what the different settings are, I'll be glad to post up and hopefully help you out. It will probably be Monday or Tuesday before I can get in touch with them. I have to work late on Monday so more than likely Tuesday.

My front are 2 sweeps from full firm (I think it's only 2) and the rears are 1 turn from full soft. Try that out first and go from there. The fronts might be 4 from full firm but I really don't think they are.

I started mine at 4 turns from full firm on the front and ran as high as 1.5 turns from full soft on the back. I'm currently running 4 from firm on the front and half a turn from full soft back, and am very happy with these settings.
HOWEVER, I am running Hotchkis springs, 1LE sway bars, etc., so your setup may be different from mine.

Stock springs here on lower perch, , T2R , 35/21 swaybars, street tires.
4 clicks from firm in front, full soft in rear.
The only tool you need to adjust them is an allen wrench, you can buy the specific size needed for under $5.00. That and a jack to raise the front end up so you can get to the adjustment. The rears adjust inside the car (if you have 4th gen rears) with a dial, so no tools needed.
It really depends on your setup (springs, tires, swaybars etc.) and you're driving style and feel.

4 sweeps off of full firm on the front, and 1 turn in the back. Similar setup to Chupr0kabra, Hotchkis springs, Koni's, Strano's 35mm/22mm, BMR LCA/STB/SFC, Spohn APHR, UMI TB ATA. So far so have gone softer, but return to these settings and am happy with them.

thanks for the help. It seems 4 sweeps from full firm in the front and 0-1 sweep from full soft in rear is the general consensus. I'll try that out. I'll write back tomorrow or Mon. to let ya'll know how it works out.

I'm at 5 sweeps from full soft on the front and 1 turn from full soft on the rear shocks. I think I'm going to firm the front up just a bit more. Hope everything works out for you.

That might help a little. The adjustment window on the front shocks is on the top (closest to the fender well). The adjuster on the rears (for the 4th gen, which is what I have) is on the very top, where it bolts to the body.
