My Ebrake Sucks!!!!!!!
I try to test out the Ebrake on my car today while driving. I was going like 10MPH or less, and put the tranny in nutrual then I pulled the Ebrake and it barely slowed down the car at all. Is it just me or does the F-body's Ebrake sucks to use while driving.

yeah, alot of times its just how they are set. Mines pretty usless as an E brake, its more of a "parking break." That can be adjusted though. Or of course, god gave you a shitty brake.

Well my car is a 2002 Trans Am, A4, so I don't think my Ebrakes are worned out. But can anybody tell how to adjust it to make it tighter? or is it even possible to adjust them?

No all LS1 ebrake all adjust the same. The shoes will almost never be worn out unless you drove with the ebrake on.
Here is what you do.
Get the car jacked up and pull the rear wheels.
now you will need to remove the calipers with the brackets. Dont pull just the calipers, make sure you pull the bracket with them. There are 2 12mm bolts that you remove and the bracket removes with the caliper in it.
Once they are off tie them up so they dont hang by the hose. Now make sure the ebrake is off or all of the way down. Now pull one rotor off and at the bottom of the rotor on the backing plate is the adjuster plate.
It has a small wheel with teeth on it. Rotate the drivers side wheel from top to bottom with a flat blade screw driver. The adjuster will slowly come out. The passanger side goes from bottom to top to rotate it out if memory serves me right. I sometimes have to watch it to be sure.
Now that you know how they work here is how I do mine.
I pull my handle up about 6 to 10 clicks then pull one rotor off and adjust it until take some tension to get it on the hub. Once I get to that point I release the ebrake and put that rotor on and pull the ebrake back up to the 6-10 click set point and make surde the rotor is held firmly.
If it hold then I go to the other side and repeat the procedure on that side until I get both to where they are held firmly at 6-10 clicks of the ebrake handle.
It will take several times back and forth until you get it to where you want it. I ahve mine set to where it hold at the above point and I can lock the rear up if I wanted to, but I at least know it holds when I need it to hold.
the inherent problem is the adjusters, they tend to rotate back in a loose thier gap over time. About twice a year I adjust mine.
Any questions let me know. I have done mine several times because of some dealership mistakes and I drive a M6 car so I prefer to know my ebrake will hold the car when it is suppossed to.

Well I guess its just my car that has this freaken problem then. I guess I would have to do the adjustments on it and see if it will help. Goodthing I have a A4 and don't depend on the Ebrake as much.
