Default How to lift rear end for changing shocks?

Just wondering how I should lift the rear end when I change the rear shocks/springs. Where should I put the jack under the car then raise it up?

Also should one 2x10 block under each wheel be enough for me to get the jack out under the car? This will be when im lowering it to the ground with the new shocks/springs in...

Kona DA and Eibach Prokit.

Under the rearend to lift it, rest it on jack stands, let hang. I would then lift it a little higher afterwards and set it down on ramps and drive off after pulling the jack back out. Use wheel chocks while lifting the back end.

Drive onto some wood to get clearance for the jack to get under the car. I lifted my car just ahead of the rearmost boxed section of my SLP SFCs and put jackstands behind the where I jacked. I let the rear doop and pumped up the jack to meet it (the flat spot under the pumpkin) but not lift.
