springs with Moser 12 bolt
Since I out the 12 bolt Moser in the car sits a lot higher and I had the SLP level 1 springs and bilstein shocks so it was sitting about .5" lower than normal. But now the car sits very high. I was wondering if anyone threw in some other springs to bring it back down again, what kind?
thanks

Yeah it was probably about .5" difference but seems like a lot to me. I think I just may go with a little bit stiffer springs, lower it another 1". the gap between the tire and fender is about 3" in rear little lower in the front.

The mosers have 9" axle tubes so the spring perch is higher up. The strange rears use regular 12bolt axle tubes.
Most people just take off the rubber spacer on the top of the spring and put heater hose around the top coil to reconfigure ride height without buying new springs.

Dont bother switching the springs. Just take out the hugs rubber isolator off the top of the spring. It will give you back that 1/2". If you dont like the look, you can always put it back on later. I got at least 1/2" drop on my car after taking them off. No after effects, as of now.

i recently took this mod off to help clear 28" slicks and after a couple years and all those miles the heater hose still looks fine.
