Camaros with Strano springs post pics

Koni SAs here. Nice firm ride, but not so much that you wouldn't want to drive the car on the street. Have you ever driven a late model BMW M series car? It kind of feels like that only slightly firmer. The car also handles great for autocross (which is why I went with setup in the first place).

If you are looking for a great handling vehicle with a comfortable/quality ride then you can't go wrong with the Konis.
For street driving applications though the revalved Bilstein's would work just as well, it's just that they will be revalved specifically for the springs that you get. The Koni's will give you the driver the flexibility of being able to change springs in the future and being able to adjust the Koni's to match the spring rate of the new springs...
Now, if you don't see yourself changing the springs in the future AND you don't see yourself getting into autoxing AND you are not hard on your vehicle, then going for the revalved Bilstein's will be just fine for you...
Give Sam Strano a call.

I don't see myself ever getting into autocrossing. Whenever I DO race it's drag racing. Other than that the car sees normal conditions. I like the Koni's because how everyone describes the way they handle and the ability to adjust them for specific conditions.

You got two different apples from two different apple trees, one is a Honey Sweet, another is a Fuji apple, so, which is better?
You ask 50 other people, you'll get up to 50% of folks that will agree with your opinion.
Now, which apple is best for an apple pie?
Which apple is best for applesauce?
The choice is based on your applications and desires...
THAT SAID, for our 4th-gen f-bodies, Koni's are the best shock you can buy if you want a great handling car.
period.
That does NOT mean that the revalved Bilstein's are not good shocks, they're outstanding as well...They're cheaper too...
If you are someone that does not tinker with their car, doesn't want to messup their suspension, then contact Sam Strano, chances are, depending on your application and willingness to spend money(or not to spend), he will direct you to the best shock for your application.

Carlos is right on. You notice that you are asking about Koni's (which I sell a lot of), Revalves (which I'm responsible for selling), and my springs (which I'm resonsible for have built).
Maybe you need to ask me directly? And don't do by e-mail, I can't help you any more that way then here on the forums or by PM (which is to say very little) if you want to know what's involved and why you might opt for part A vs. B.

I have white 2000 SS with Sam's springs. They have been on for the last 2 months or so. I will post picks of the car with the before (eibach sportlines) and after (Sam's springs), both set ups with koni SA's. I just wanted to let the springs settle to gauge the actual ride height.
All in all these a very good springs and I'm very happy with the ride/ handeling.
Pics soon
