Default Strano Lowering Springs On My 2002 Z28--BEFORE & AFTER PICS!!! 56K is not ok

Between 11/7/06 and 11/10/06, I had the following installed by Harris Speed Works on my 2002 A4 Z28:

- Koni SA's--fronts set at 4 clicks from full hard and rears set at full soft
- Strano lowering springs;
- UMI double-adjustable panhard rod--no re-centering of the rear end was needed even after the lowering;
- UMI weld-on lower control arm brackets--set on middle hole to make 1LE LCA's parallel with the ground.

Besides the aforementioned 1LE lower control arms, the only other suspension modifications were the Strano sway bars. I also had the car aligned based on Sam Strano's alignment specs. Here are a few questions that you might ask and my answers to them.

How's the ride, man?

It's ******* awesome, dude. Before this installation, I had the new SLP-spec Bilstein HD fronts and the factory deCarbon-spec Bilstein HD rears dampening the garbage 4x4 factory springs. The ride now with the Koni's and the Strano lowering springs is actually much much better! Can you believe it? I was on 4x4 springs before? Now, I'm using lowering springs and the ride actually got more comfortable?! I don't know how I was able to ride in that 4x4 Z28. It looked gay. I don't care if it's better for weight transfer. All you folks with these 4x4 springs should be ashamed of yourselves!

Can you out-handle a Z06 now, man?

What the ****?! No way, dude. I drive like a grandma. I didn't notice any handling improvements. Nada.

How does the car sit now, man?

The car sits ******* awesome, dude. Here's BEFORE:

Here's AFTER:

Big difference, huh?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the pics, the rear doesn't look much lower at all, but the front looks great with a nice little rake. What were the specs? I was looking for a kit that didn't touch the rear springs too much.

Maybe I should do this:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

There is a little bit of a lowering in the rear. And I forgot to mention that I haven't even driven over a hundred miles yet with these springs. They might settle down some more...

I could also adjust the midtones so that the tire in the wheel well will look lighter. Let's see...

Now, look up again at just the rear wheel well shots. You'll see that there's even a bigger difference.

Looks great and it should handle better

Why did you adjust the rear shocks?

Thanks. I told Nick at Harris Speed Works to adjust the rear shocks to full soft if they weren't already on it.

Looks awesome! I like the stance, not too much, just right. I am debating on what I want as far as lowering my car, and seeing your car (SOM Z28 with silver snowflakes) is exactly what my car looks like as of yesterday since I put my stock wheels back on for winter lol.

Actually, I would rather have the slammed look that my GTO has, but these springs were designed by Sam Strano so I guess they're the best that they can be.

I checked out your pics. I like the gunmetal ZR1 rims. Looks great on SOM. But you definitely need your car lowered. I don't know why nobody didn't shoot me for riding around in a 4x4 all these years. I mean, **** weight transfer. Riding high is gay.

Yeah, but your car was ultra four by. I can't remember seeing one so high. My car with just the heater hose mod looks like yours after the lowering springs.

haha

I always thought it was because of the stripped down 1SC package that made the car so high. Maybe I could have gotten away with using the Eibach Sportlines...
