3 point STB for lt1?
3 point STB for lt1? I want to know what is out there for the lt1, i was going to get one from the ws6 store but they discontinued the one i wanted, what other options do i have or what is everyone running?
I always get mixed news about a 3 point.
People say that the cowl is so flimsy that it is pointless but then they turn around and say that 3 points will crack a windshield.
If the cowl is truely so flimsy why doesn't the windshield without the STB? If the front end is so tight as people suggest and it doesn't need such a bar how can this happen?
If the cowl is so paper thin then structurely, a STB should make is stronger.
The STB should be re-enforcing the cowl if this is true. So I will tell you right now to think twice about any proceding posts.

I actually have an 3-point stb that I have just sitting around. I bought it from year one about a year ago and then had some engine trouble, took it off, and never bothered to put it back on. Its black powdercoat. PM me if interested. I have some pics somewhere, ill see if i can find them.

why do you want a 3 point STB? the 2 point works well, if you want better handeling and less body roll, get a set of front and rear sway bars, and an eibach pro kit with an adjustable panhard rod. It works wonders.

Pro-kit is overrated. Lots of people who have them are dissappointed or swith later. Get a set of Strano springs, they are the new craze and a suspension genius designed them.
