Not to totally hi-jack, but on the topic - an online store lists a:
Koni Sport Yellow single adjustable Mono-Tube rear shock 1993-2002 each
And
Koni Sport Yellow single adjustable rear shock 1993-2002 each
Can anyone tell me what the difference is and why do I never hear about it on here? There is a $50 difference.
This wouldn't be the on-car adjustable you are paying for is it? They certainly don't explain any difference between the two, both have the same descriptions.
To answer your question, from what I have read Konis are the best street and corner carving shock for your dollar. It is what I will be running on my car eventually.

I have the 4/4s and I love them. Great shocks and will make a world of difference compaired to the crappy stock shocks. They are well worth the money

Any specifics I tend to not just give out too freely. Too often folks are willing to take the knowledge I have, and give away for free to customers, and run and buy parts elsewhere. So not giving away the farm is something I'm kind of forced to do. Service includes that kind of information, and if you can get the things milk for free... Well folks become all about the price then.
And there are other details that make the two rear shocks different. The adjusters are quite different in the amount of change one is able to cause. It's not just one is easier to adjust.

I have single adjustable Konis on both the front and thr rear of my 99 SS and they made a huge difference in the handling. Of all the things I have done to the suspension they made the biggest improvement. The 35 mm front bar made the next biggest improvement. For autoX I run the fronts and three below full firm and the rears at one above full soft. For the street I run them all at full soft. I get very little nose dive on hard braking and in slaloms the car does not start to rock as it did with the stock Decarbons. I am running on the lower spring perch in the front and I have done the heater hose mod in the rear to lower the car 1/2 to 3/4 inch.

Top perch. The bottom perch is for stock springs. If you tried running the bottom perch with a lowering spring I think it would be too low to drive with
