Try 5 on the front, and 6 on the rear. It's from a much-earlier post.

I think I got those numbers from a post you made a few months ago? How are the KYB's working for you?

Haven't got a chance to drive my Camaro since that post but I'll let you know how I like those settings... I'm pretty sure I have them both at 7 now.

I have them. I had them on 8 for a while, the put them all on 5 because I was driving a lot for work and school. I put them back on 8 earlier today and love how firm it feels. I say go 8 all the way around and go down from there.

Finally some people that like the KYBs. Glad to hear since I'm thinking about getting them. I was going to give them a try just cause of cost and I think alot of people on this board buy the konis cause everyone else has.

Talk to Sam Strano. Thats who is helping me set up my suspension & I'll be running the KYB AGX shocks too.

They aren't his most suggested shocks, but if your on a budget like me they will be fine once set up properly.

I sell AGX's. As Mike said, not my favorites, and not my first choice but they can work decently well. Decent is not generally what I'm shooting for which is why they aren't my first or even second choice.

As for the comment someone made about "finally someone who likes them". Remember that anyone, can like anything, for any reason. Just because someone says that something is good, or bad, or indifferent doesn't mean it is to me. I work on facts and details, and I want to know why they think it's good, bad, or indifferent. The fact is the AGX's are cheaper shocks, don't have an adjuster that effects the piston of the shock, only bypass of oil to the outer chamber of the shock. So yeah, they're adjustable, but in a very different way than Koni's are. Think of it this way. You can go buy a lot of 275/40-17 tires. They are all round, black, and about the same size. But you know as well as I do that there is a huge difference between a Pep Boys Futura and something like a BFG KDW, or Goodyear F1D3, right?

I understand where you're coming from Sam, but I've seen countless posts and threads where the only answer people give are "Gets Sams, or Get Koni" Few people on these boards do what your saying in giving details just quote the next guy, or buy what the next guy bought because someone else said to. If someone even mentions another brand in a post they get bitched at for even thinking anything else. Get what I'm getting at? I've talked to you, and I've talked to people at Bilstien and people at KYG all gave me numbers and recomendations, and I'm not saying they're are better or worse then anything out there, actually I know they aren't the greatest things, but for what I'm looking for, and I know alot of other people are looking for, I/they dont need to spend 1000 bucks on shocks. I find it hard to believe that a company can truely produce **** and still be in buisness.
