Default I have to brake light
When I engage the emergency brake, the light in the console never comes on. I have a 99 Z28. What could the problem be?

Have you checked the connection next to the emergency brake handle located under the shifter console? It could be disconnected.

Or the switch is bad (in the console that the wire is hooked to).

The bulb could be burned out as well.

Awsome, I'm going to be taking all this apart over winter break to change my interior to blue lighting. I'll check all these. Thanks.
