From my experience...Hawk HPS and Hawk ceramics were both pretty decent.

For less dust and overall noise, Hawk Ceramics are decent.

Even though HPS's do dust and make some more noise, I prefer to use them for their optimal performance.

Regardless of any of those pads, the best rotor I've experienced so far was the Brembo blanks.

Default Performance Friction pads

I recommend Performance friction pad, I have used them for years on my personal cars and customers car especially those picky Vet guys they get the Z rated.. been turning wrenches for 22 years.

I'm running duralast ceramics. They make NO dust, but when I stop from over 100 mph it gets a little scary. Kinda feels like they get hot and stop gripping. fine for regular driving tho.

OEM pads are great. Along with Hawk. Semi metallic and Organic are the ones that make dust.

OEM rotors SUCK.

Brembo blanks and OEM/Hawk pads I think are the best way to go for a street car.

This is my second pair of Hawk Ceramics, and I still have very little dust, if any.. On d/s rotors, too if it matters. -AWESOME mileage too!!!

There's your problem.. I frickin hate that damn store.. I wouldn't trust their crap on my DD F150. That pad must not be very good with heat if it fades that easily... Do you have D or S rotors? If not, there's your problem. Stock rotors don't do much in the heat dissipation field. If you're gonna go OEM, go somewhere else. AutoZone Sucks..

I heard the EBC Greenstuff pads are very good for not producing very much dust with great stopping power.

I have EBC yellow stuff pads on a daily driver. Man do they have stopping power-even cold. They do dust more than stock pads. They are probably the best stopping pads you can run on the street.

I have GM OEM pads and Bear Rotors with no dust.
Great street combo.
